The Boston Globe reports on an ice rescue in Wareham, Mass. Local firefighters put on their survival gear and plucked a stray chicken from a frozen cranberry bog.
“I don’t know how he fell through to begin with,” said Wareham Fire Captain Bruce Kelenosy. “I think the chicken crossed the road.”
